Steep climbs, sweeping views… and a cheeky wave to Number 10!
� ABOUT THE WALK �
Lace up your boots and join us for this spectacular 8-mile circular walk through the rolling hills of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, passing right by Chequers Court – the Prime Minister’s official country residence. Go on, give them a wave from the ridge! �
Starting near Wendover, this walk is packed with variety: peaceful woodland paths, open countryside, nature reserves, and the iconic Coombe Hill monument, which offers jaw-dropping views across the Vale of Aylesbury. Expect beautiful scenery, birdsong, and maybe even a curious deer or two.
We’ll wander through Bacombe Hill Nature Reserve, Goodmerhill, Maple and Whorley Woods, and make a memorable climb up to Coombe Hill – the highest viewpoint in the Chilterns.
� This is a moderate route with a few steep inclines and possibly muddy patches, so sturdy footwear is a must (especially after rain).
� Toilets are available at Wendover Station, where you can also park for the day.
� Approximate walking time: 3 hrs 45 mins.

-We walk in all weathers, however, if we have a weather warning then the event may be cancelled. Keep an eye on your emails and the Facebook event page for notifications of any cancellations.
-We supply free sweets at the halfway stage.
